Ted Tiller's witty tale takes place at Dr Seward's Asylum for the Insane. Dr Seward is trying to deal with the recent bizarre behaviour of the inmates at the asylum, particularly the new arrival, Renfield, who seems to have developed a taste for flies and spiders. His ditzy sister Sybil is not helping matters and his ward Mina is the second young woman who becomes mysteriously ill. Can Dr Seward, Mina’s fiancé, Jonathan, and the renowned Prof Van Helsing find the cure before it takes Mina’s life? Do all these strange occurrences have anything to do with the mysterious new resident in the castle across the valley – the suave foreign count who is only ever seen at night? The wolves howl, the bats fly, the lights flicker ... and the legendary story unfolds.
