A classic Ayckbourn play; appealing but flawed middle-class folk find themselves in a situation that tests their relationships to the full. But this time there's a twist! For in this Ayckbourn, it's not extra-marital affairs or failed business dealings that occupy the cast but a real life murder! A murder which could have been any one of them; everybody has a motive.

The Chalke household are a funny lot at the best of times: two batty brothers, their sister, her ineffectual boyfriend and an over-eating adolescent daughter. So when eldest brother Mortimer, a nasty piece of work, threatens to pass the family inheritance to a stranger, the temperatures begin to rise.

Ayckbourn's wonderful comedic observation of character is as strong as ever, but here it is combined with a cracking good murder mystery, to give us a play that's fun, clever and suitable for all ages.
